NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. "It is exciting to see a new growth in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking figure in 2019," he stated. "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country each month. It's a fantastic positive change that we are pleased to witness and anticipate an upward trajectory for months to follow."
Canada is also on track, just as the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada received 7,200 visitors and August witnessed 6,600.

Israel welcomed more than 4.6million tourists in 2019, 969,600 of which were from the United States. Since May when the country was reopened to all travelers regardless of vaccination status over 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
